CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. In Queensland, it is mandatory annual training for all licensed real estate professionals — including real estate agents, property auctioneers, resident letting agents, and registration certificate holders. You must complete 2 approved CPD sessions each CPD year.

All Queensland property industry licence and registration holders must complete annual CPD, regardless of their job, position, or role. Queensland property professionals must complete 2 approved CPD sessions each CPD year. From 6 June 2026, renewal applicants must declare their CPD completion or provide exemption details — renewals cannot be processed until CPD is complete.

Your CPD year in Queensland runs for 12 months from the anniversary of your licence or registration issue date. For example, if your licence was issued on 15 March, your CPD year runs from 15 March each year through to 14 March the following year. This calculator applies that rule using the date you enter.
