- Complete the supervised logbook tasks signed off by your licensee
- Be a fit and proper person, no fraud or dishonesty offence in the past 10 years

What do I get when I finish?+–
You receive the full, nationally recognised CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, which is the qualification NSW Fair Trading requires for a Class 2 Agent Licence.
Do I need to be a registered assistant agent first?+–
Yes. To be issued a Class 2 licence you must have held a Certificate of Registration for at least 12 months and completed the supervised logbook tasks. You can study the qualification while you build that experience.
Can I run my own agency with a Class 2 licence?+–
Not on your own. A Class 2 agent works within an agency led by a Class 1 Licensee in Charge, who is responsible for the trust account. To run your own agency, you need to upgrade to a Class 1 licence.
Are the elective units the same at every college?+–
The five core units are fixed by the qualification. NSW Fair Trading also allows category-restricted licences, so colleges can offer sales-focused or property-management-focused electives. Our team can confirm the exact units for your pathway.
How long do I have to finish?+–
You have up to 12 months of access and most students finish sooner. It is self-paced, with 24/7 access to the student portal.
Can I pay monthly?+–
Yes. Class 2 Agent Licence has a payment plan of $300 per month for 4 months, at no extra cost. You choose it when you enrol through our enrolment portal, and you get full course access straight away.
