The CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice — the nationally recognised NSW licence that lets you work independently as a licensed real estate agent.
The NSW Class 2 Agent Licence (CPP41419) is the full NSW real estate licence — it allows you to practice independently as a licensed real estate agent without needing to work under a Licensee in Charge. It's the standard step up from the Class 3 Certificate of Registration.
If you haven't yet completed the Class 3 Certificate of Registration, that is typically the required first step. Contact the Archer team to confirm your entry requirements.
CPP41419 covers the full scope of skills required to practice as a licensed real estate agent in NSW — from compliance through to client management and independent agency practice.

Completing CPP41419 is your training step. The licence application is made through NSW Fair Trading.
After completing the required training, students may need to apply for their Class 2 Agent Licence through NSW Fair Trading. Application requirements and processes can vary, so we recommend confirming the current steps with the Archer team or directly with the regulator before you enrol.
Once licensed, you can practice independently in NSW. If you later want to manage or own an agency and hold a trust account, the next step is the Class 1 Licensee in Charge (CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management)).
Recognition of Prior Learning may allow your existing real estate experience or prior study to be recognised before you enrol — potentially reducing the units you need to complete. Assessed case-by-case and worth discussing before you start.
