Who Needs NSW CPD

Which NSW CPD course do I need?

Class 2 (Real Estate Agent) — complete the compulsory topics relevant to your licence category each year

Delivery Requirements

How NSW CPD must be completed

NSW Fair Trading sets clear requirements for how compulsory CPD must be delivered. Understanding this before you enrol is important.

NSW CPD must be completed in an interactive training environment, either face-to-face or by interactive webinar. Self-paced online training is not accepted for NSW compulsory CPD. This has been a requirement since the 2025–26 CPD year.

Contact Archer for current NSW CPD session format, scheduled dates and enrolment support. Call 1800 069 273 or use the enquiry form at /contact/.

Class 1 Licence Holders

Additional requirement for Class 1 licence holders

Class 1 licensees have an additional CPD obligation on top of their core category hours.

Class 1 licence holders (Licensees in Charge) have an additional requirement to attend a NSW Fair Trading accredited event for a minimum of 5 hours each CPD year. This is in addition to the core CPD hours that apply to your licence category. The accredited event requirement is separate from the category enrolment buttons on this page.
